FUNCTIONS, FACILITIES & SERVICE
1. FUNCTIONS-
(1) To control the primary schools pre primary schools middle schools High school and Higher secondary school both the both the Govt. Non Govt School of the entire District.
(2) To control D.E.O. office.
(3) To monitor D.I.E.T.
(4) To execute Administrative powers the office and the schools the types.
(5) To execute financial powers over the office and the schools of all types
(6) To inspect all the schools of the District
(7) To monitor school and schemes run by the Rajeev Gandhi mission.
(8) To conduct primary school certificate examination middle School certificate examinatio.
(a) To give cooperation in the conduction of High School Certificate and Higher secondary school certificate examination
Conducted by the Board of secondary education M.P. Bhopal
(10) To give cooperation in the conduction of correspondence course examination open school examination & state open school examinations.
(11) To conduct tournaments in the district and sports activities in the schools of the District.
(12) To organize boys scouts / Girls guide and junior Red Cross activities in The Govt & Non Govt schools of the entire District.
(13) To execute I.E.D.C. programme in all the school of the district
(14) To conduct the schemes of the Rajiv Gandhi Shiksha Mission.
(15) To promote cultural, literary and scientific activities in the entire District.
(16) To give cooperation in the conduction of examination for admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidhalay, Bohani.
(17) To recruit Samvida Grade 1 with the cooperation of Zila Panchayat.
(18) To conduct vocational education in Govt. Multipurpose H.S.school, Narsingpur Govt.Boys H.S.S. school, Kareli and Govt.H.S.School, Gadarwara.
(19) To upgrade primary Shools to High schools and High School to Higher Secondary schools.
(20) Proper monitoring of 11 points.
(21) Successful execution of Rajiv Gandhi Shiksha Mission.
(22) To give grade promotion and promotion to L.D.T., U.D.T.
(23) To send caves of lectures for promotion to D.P.I., Bhopal.
(24) To conduct Typing Examination and National Talented Search Examination.
(25) To control the B.EO; s and B.EO office
2. 2.Facilities –(1) To give recognition to the Non-Govt school of all levels.
(2) To allocate Grant-in-aid to the Non-Govt school of levels.
(3) To allocate allotments to the Govt.school and B.E.O. Offices.
(4) To distribute books of book bank in the school of the entire District.
(5) To give allotments for different kind of scholarships.
(6) To give allotments for school building constructions.
(7) To pride uniforms to girls and the primary schools.
(8) To conduct joint insurance of boys and girls of schools
3. 3.Services- (1) To run district library in the Internet of public.
(2) To run madras’s in the interest of Muslim community which is in minority in the state and the nation.
(3) To run Sanskrit school in the interest of those people who want to make their children learn Sanskrit language.
(4) To pride mid-Day meal for the health of children.
4. Major achievements: -(1) 87 Primary schools have been upgraded to middle Schools.
(2) Control over copying cases during the Board Examination 2001 such on middle School certificate Examination High School certificate Examination.
(3) Boys and Girls have been selected for Divisional and state tournament.
(4) Boys and Girls have given excellent performance in Judo Competition Girls have been selected for national competition. They have been recorded Gold-Meddles.
5.Any other specific Information (1) Padna Badna compaign very successful in the year 2000 and Narsingpur District stood second in M.P.
(2) Narsingpur District in first in literacy in M.P. Its percentage is 78.
(3) Increase of girl’s admission to primary and middle schools.
(4) Increase of disabled boys and girls in admission to primary school.
