Right to Information

In year 1987 for the establishment of Information Technology facilities to be available at state and district headquarters under NICNET domain a MOU was signed in between Government of MP and NIC following which the District Informatics Centre (DIC) Narsinghpur was setup in 1988-89.

Initially the infrastructure provided was 300 square feet partitioned room having VSAT C-200 Controller, Super –AT 386 and six terminals(including three GIST) and three tables and six chairs.

In the present state of affairs NIC Narsinghpur infrastructure is 20x17 feet hall with Aluminum glass partitioned with DAMA VSAT Platforms Linux,Win2K,Windows 2003 server /clients equipped with Videoconferencing studio and RAS-Finder for dial-up connectivity to provide local administration state of art technology and interface with the people using National/State/District Level projects.

NIC District Centre activities are to Design and Develop the software applications ,Implementation of Software projects, to promote IT culture through computer training and technical assistance.

The above objectives at Narsinghpur DIC are achieved as follows..

Priasoft

Priasoft alias Panchlekha project implemented in all the six blocks of the district to maintain the accounting information schemes wise from Gramsabha to Grampanchayat to Janpad panchayat .All the blocks are now provided with e-mail connectivity .The project in use from 12.08.2005.

Agmarknet

Agmarknet NIC portal implemented at Krishi Upaj Mandi Narsinghpur on 7.10.2002 for data transmission of various commodities arrival and their rates daily .The workshop for the same was organized on19.05.2003 in the Mandi Campus attended by Chairman,Vice-chairman and members of Mandi committee and a lot of farmers ,demonstration for the usefulness was given and local newspapers publish the workshop details.Very soon other Krishi Upaj Mandi Gadarwara,Gotegaon,Kareli of the District will be covered under Agmarknet.

Bhu-Abhilekh

Bhu-Abhilekh 2.0 Land Record software for updation and dissemination of Khasra reports from all the five tehsils of the district .

BRISC

MIS covers the eight banks of the district under which all the revenue recovery cases are recorded.

Arms Registration Monitoring System

In the Arms Section of the Collectorate , loacally developed s/w is installed for generation of report for lincense renewal and report for expiry of license.

CNM-Time Limit Papers Monitoring System

Implemented at the Krishak Seva Kendra of the Collectorate for weekly basis of pending applications.

Community Needs Assessment Approach (CNNA)

Implemented at the CM&HO District Hospital Narsinghpur for monthly and yearly data transmission of family welfare schemes and stock.

Computer Based Pay and Allowances

Application is in use in Collectorate, District Excise Office, Sub –Division Narsinghpur and tribal office for generation of computerized pay bill.

Integrated Child Development services (ICDS)

Implemented for MPR data monthly basis in the WCDO office.

Revenue Court Cases Monitoring System

Application is in use for DM and ADM and SDM office.

MP Local area Development (MPLAD)

Implemented in the District Statistical Office for report retrieval of expenditure and work monitoring of MPs.

Public Distribution management System (PDMS)

District Food and civil Supply office use this application for monthly data uploading to state of FPS wise allotment and lifting of commodities.

11 Points Programme

11 Points Application is in use all the six blocks of the district.

Elections

Election MIS - For general and assembly election, used for polling party formation, duty orders, training orders, polling personnel attendance etc. developed locally.

Head start RGSM

Headstart is the concrete expression of the Government of Madhya Pradesh to bridge the digital divide by harnessing the potential of Information Technology to aid educational transaction to improve its quality. Zila Shiksha Kendra has implement Headstart Project in the district as the nodal agency. Headstart project implemented in 65 Centres in Three phases by providing 03 Computers, 3 UPS, 01 Printer and Educational Software CDs those developed by Rajya Shiksha Kendra, Bhopal (M.P)

Gramin Sachivalaya

GRAMIN SACHIVALAY this loacally developed module for monitoring of grievance of people during the shivir organized in the district implemented at all the six blocks.

Other Projects

DISNIC-PLAN, 7th ALL INDIA EDUCATION SURVEY, GRAM SAMPARK ABHIYAN Minor Irrigation Census (MIC) these projects have been completed. Currently Collectorate LAN setup with 17 Nodes is on the way and Krishak Seva Kendra a common counter for people interface to administration for their applications provided with Net connectivity from NIC is in progress.
